United States: Two patients suspected of Ebola traveled from a New York City urgent care facility to a hospital medical center for testing because they showed signs of infection with the fatal disease.

According to DailyMail reports, the New York City Fire Department reported that the patients left City MD on East 125th Street and Lexington Avenue at 11:16 a.m. ET on Sunday.
Emergency teams with face protection and gloves transported sick patients between vehicles under rainy conditions on Upper East Side streets.
The government conducted an evaluation because patients arrived from Uganda during an active Ebola outbreak zone, the New York reported.
FDNY transported the patients to Bellevue Hospital, which received an examination from Department of Health personnel, which confirmed their lack of Ebola infection.
According to acting NYC Health Commissioner Dr. Michelle Morris, “The two patients that sought services at CityMD on February 16 at 153 East 125 Street do not have Ebola,” the Daily Mail reported.

Moreover, “One patient is being taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue for routine testing and treatment. The NYC Health Department is in close communication with FDNY, CityMD, and NYC Health + Hospitals,” Morris added.
Research from the Post says that the sickness causing the patients’ infections might be norovirus.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention directed physicians to perform Ebola assessments on American patients to confirm if the disease has entered domestic territory.
“For the protection of patient privacy, we do not have any comment,’ City MD stated.
“There is no report of any Ebola virus or exposure, consistent with what the DOH confirmed as well,” he continued.
What more are the experts stating?
The Health Alert Network (HAN) Health Advisory released its notice when Ebola outbreak confirmation occurred in Uganda on January 30.

The Ebola virus claimed the life of a Mulago National Referral Hospital nurse who worked at Kampala’s central hospital on January 29 when she reached 32 years old.
The Ugandan nurse experienced multiple symptoms, including high fever combined with chest pain, which led to difficulties in breathing while bleeding occurred from various body points during the several days before his death, Daily Mail reported.
The deceased received medical care at three different health facilities, starting with Mulago Referral Hospital in Kampala, followed by Saidina Abubakar Islamic Hospital in Matugga Wakiso District, then continuing at Mbale Regional Referral Hospital in Mbale City, but he failed to get better.
Center for Disease Control reports that the deceased Ugandan nurse visited both modern medical facilities and traditional healing practitioners. Tests on dead tissue samples through post-mortem examinations confirmed the presence of Ebola virus to the agency.
